Chocolate Covered Strawberries Recipe
This easy chocolate covered strawberries recipe is perfect for parties, date nights or any other special occasion. They are delicious and super easy to make.

Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) large ripe strawberries (long stems are best)
- 8 oz (225g) chopped chocolate or chocolate chips (milk, semi-sweet or dark)
Instructions
- Rinse the strawberries well and pat dry (make sure they're completely dry).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Melt your chocolate using a double broiler or in the microwave.
- Dip the strawberries one by one into the melted chocolate, coating about 3/4 of each. Twist and pull the strawberry out, letting the excess drip back into the bowl.
- Place the chocolate dipped strawberries onto the parchment then refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate sets.

TIPS:
After rinsing the strawberries, it is important to dry them really well. If there is any water left or any bruised areas, the chocolate won't stick. So pat them with a paper towel then let them dry completely.
Another thing to keep in mind is that strawberries grow on the ground. Hence, you need to wash them well before dipping and eating.
Leave the green caps on, and wash gently so you won't bruise them.
