Keto Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Recipe

This easy bacon wrapped shrimp recipe takes just 22 minutes to make, it's Keto and it yields the best party appetizers ever.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) extra large raw shrimp peeled, deveined, tail on
  • sea salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 6-8 very thin slices of bacon (about 12 oz. / 340g)

Keto white Sauce:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp prepared horseradish
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • sea salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Place the raw shrimp into a bowl and sprinkle with seasonings. Drizzle olive oil and fresh lemon juice and gently toss to coat.
  • Cut the bacon strips in half and wrap each shrimp in one bacon half-slice. Insert a toothpick through the bacon to secure the wrap.
  • Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on the prepared pan. Roast the bacon wrapped shrimp for 10-12 minutes, flipping it halfway.
  • Meanwhile, combine all sauce ingredients in a jug and whisk to emulsify. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Once the shrimp is done, carefully remove the toothpicks and transfer it to a serving plate.
  • Serve with white Keto sauce and Enjoy!
